Dermaplaning
What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a deep exfoliating treatment whereby a Scalpel is used to remove 2-4 weeks of excess dead skin cells. It has the benefits of allowing for better product penetration and make-up application as it leaves the skin smooth and flawless following treatments. Dermaplaning also has the benefit of the removal of excess vellus hair. This allows the practitioner to define hairlines, brows and sideburns giving you a better overall face shape.
What happens during the treatment?
Your practitioner will talk to you about ensure you are suitable for treatment during a consultation process. They will also discuss what it is you are hoping to achieve from the treatment, and a plan of treatment will be designed and decided upon.
Photos will be taken (with permission) for both yourself and the practitioner to observe results.
The treatment consists of a full cleansing facial using the Clinicare range of premium products before the Dermaplaning procedure is carried out. After this you will receive a hydrating mask followed by the application of Clinic care hyaluronic acid serum.
